With Ubuntu 7.10 to connect to wireless networks in this regard was great. Linux for many years was just for geeks. I really feel that the only thing that the reluctance is a problem with the Linux installation of Linux on laptops. If you have Ubuntu 7.10 wireless network, you will have access to all the thousands of free applications to the Linux community has put together. I do not know how many people I have met who say that the only reason she is not like Linux, because it will not run properly on your laptop.
